Hand Painted Signs

Over the last few years there's been a revival of the traditional ways and we couldn't be happier. There's something about each individual brush stroke that just gives a sign a sense of personality and character. So why not give your office or shop a talking point with a splash of colour and have your logo hand painted onto a sign panel, wall or pretty much any surface you like.

Things you might like to know about hand painted signs...

Non toxic paint systems

Where possible we use our eco friendly water based paint systems from Ronan and Grog. They're much safer to use indoors in shops & offices etc than their oil and spirit based predecessors and just as hard wearing when used outside.

Pretty much any surface

With the odd few exceptions we can paint onto any surface. Some surfaces may require more prep than others and where possible with sign panels we will provide the panel for you to ensure a long lasting product.

Colours

As a guide we use the industry standard RAL K7 colour chart. However, that is just a guide! If you can imagine a colour then we can mix it up for you. We can even load it with some glitter if that's your thing.

Restoration & replication

Sometimes the only thing better than a fresh hand painted sign is an original sign replicated or restored. We'd need to do a site visit to see which way we can go but where possible we always like to keep an original in place.

Conversation starter

Hand painted signs always catch peoples eyes and spark conversations. It doesn't matter if you sell car parts or cookies, if there's a hand painted sign about, your customers will want to talk to you about it. It's advertising that keeps on giving for years to come.

Business and personal

Whether you're the local coffee shop, the resident man cave owner or a person who needs a house name sign, we'll paint them all! Traditional signwriting is a real passion for us and we love any excuse to get the brushes out.
